About the Teacher
¡Hola! My name is Desiree Hayden-Parra and I have been teaching Spanish at Arlington High School since 2009 (minus the 2017-2018 school year). I live in Fremont with my husband (Javier), sons (Noah, Eli, and Zavier), daughter (Brooklyn), and dogs (Cheeky and Avena). I earned a B.S. in Spanish and Secondary Education at Middle Tennessee State University and an M.A. in Language Teaching with a Concentration in Spanish at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In addition to my Spanish language degrees, I also hold a PK-12 School Counseling degree that I earned through the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I currently teach Spanish I-IV and serve on various school committees. Go Eagles!!
